It's .090 inch thick stainless steel that I texturize either with sandblasting, brushing, or with a series of grinding discs in order to make an appealing surface. This is after I cut the metal into two points. I then bend the two points with my hands into a flowing shape.
 
These are the only three I have done so far. The first one was to see what the concept looked like. The second one ended up with the look and feel I was trying to evoke. The third was going bigger and more committed. I still need to mount it in a rock other than the one you see in the picture.
