Car/Truck Customizing
In 2002 I traded a car for a 1993 Ford F-150 Flareside with only 33,000 miles on it. In October 2003 we got a 1966 Mustang for my wife and I was getting an Australian 1972 Ford XA Fairmont coupe that I didn't actually have home until fall of 2004.

The truck already had the shade visor over the windshield, the cap, running boards, and rear spoiler. I added the scooped cowl hood, front spoiler, and completely customized the bed.

The 1966 Mustang had some metal replaced and was painted a year and a half before we bought it. It also was switched from a 6 cylinder car to a 289 V8 and had 5 lug brakes put on front. It also came with an 8" rear axle that needed to be put in. I rebuilt the engine into a 331 stroker, refinished the engine compartment, rebuilt the suspension and added Granada disc brakes and a custom polished dual master cylinder with a 1987 Mustang power brake booster. I also replaced just about everything that bolts on the car and a friend rebuilt the 8" axle before I swapped it into the car. I also designed and machined a few one-off parts for the car.

The Australian XA Fairmont came with all the parts on it to make it look like an XB Falcon, the kind of car used to make the famous black on black Interceptor from the movie Mad Max, and this is what I got this car for; to build my own replica of this famous movie car. This is an ongoing project. CLICK each one to see more.
