When I was 13 years old and saw Star Wars for the first time I was floored. I just had to know how George Lucas did all of it. This
put me on a life long love of movies and movie making. Ultimately I wanted to make movies but I found my wife and started a family.
Though I could only dream about it that didn't stop me from learning as much as I could.
While a teenager I worked on helping
a friend make a short for a high school class. Having a background in audio tape recording I recorded the audio on reel-to-reel
tape while we shot the movie on silent 8mm movie film. This was 1982. It never got finished but we had fun.
Also around
this time me and another friend were building a miniature city out of balsa wood which was later eaten by his pet rabbit. We also
kit bashed to come up with original spaceship designs and he also came up with a great baseship design which we were building out
of pine and balsa wood. I have some pictures from that era. I will post them when I can find them.
In more recent years I put
together a video of still photos of the building of the engine for my wife's 1966 Mustang. Later I made a little video featuring her
car in action. I also made a teaser for my first script. The site for the script is www.theprototype.biz . I am currently
working on a trailer with actual scenes from the script. This was all done on obsolete equipment and an amateur editing program.
My
latest video is a commercial I made for the 2009 Doritos "Crash the Superbowl Contest". I think it came out great, even though it
was not a finalist. After the video of the commercial are funny out takes.
